{Meet the Staff: Jean Neibauer}

Today is the inaugural "Meet the Staff" post. Each Wednesday we will be featuring a professional staff member, graduate assistant, or Peer Advisor in Residence (PAIR). This is a chance for you to get to know people that work in our office and feel free to comment with any questions you have for them!

Name: Jean Neibauer, Director of Office of Academic Advising
Undergraduate Major:  Spanish
Who You Advise: Freshman in the following majors:  Criminology, Geography, History-non-teaching, Political Science, Social Science Teaching and 2nd year Deciding and Nursing/Allied Health majors

Advice to Students: I believe everybody is gifted - possessing unique qualities that should be developed so you can share them with the world.  Nobody else is like you and can make the impact you will.  College is a time to develop those gifts both in and out of the classroom. It a wonderful time of freedom and discovery.  Your UNI community and the world is waiting for you.  Don't be shy! Make the most of your college years!
