This coming weekend is Family Weekend! This is a chance for you to invite your family to campus to get to know campus. The full schedule is available at here. Here is the schedule for the weekend:
Friday, October 17
- WRC Open to families 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- International Dance Theatre and Orchesis Dance Company perform at 7:30pm in Russell Hal
- View the stars at the Hillside Observatory on Jennings Drive 8 - 10 p.m.
Saturday, October 18
- Welcome/Check-In 9:30 - 11 a.m. in the GBPAC Lobby
- Get a schedule of events, some fun giveaways, free t-shirts, see TC, TK, and the spirit squads and alumni have the chance to win a UNI license plate!
- WRC Open with various hours
- A variety of Open Houses and Tours. Learn more on the website above!
- Family Feast Tailgate 11:30 - 1:00 at Rialto and Piazza ($8 at the door)
- Visit downtown Cedar Falls. A shuttle bus will make a loop from 1:00-4:00
- Magic and Illusions from Eric Michaels at 1:30 in Maucker Union
- Renaissance Fair starting at 10 a.m. on the GBPAC front lawn
- UNI Football vs. South Dakota State 4:00pm. Tickets can be ordered online.
- WRC Open to families 1:00 - 8:00
- International Dance Theatre and Orchesis Dance Company perform at 2:00pm in Bengston Auditorium in Russell Hall
